MDS ap, the SAP enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions company, has announced partnership with EPM International (EPMi), the international EPM consulting network
The company has announced that this move was made in a bid to support businesses through a potentially challenging period in the Middle East. According to the statement released by the company, the partnership comes in the light of increasing turbulent financial environment in the region with the IMF cut on regional growth forecasts and the UAE GDP figure being moderated to 2.4 per cent for 2016, down from 3.9 per cent in 2015.
EPM refers to the methodologies, metrics, processes and systems used to monitor and manage the business performance of an enterprise. MDS ap has commented that this partnership will help them deliver global EPM best practice to the region and help local organisations effect marked progression in financial planning and forecasting, budgeting, actual data consolidation and reporting as well as performance analysis.
The new collaboration will offer a range of services from defining leading edge performance management processes and an associated performance management roadmap, through to project management, implementation and application management services.
