Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) has fully acquired Hochtief Facility Management Bahrain, which was formerly a joint venture between BAC and Hochtief

BAC CEO Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah said that BAC, after buying the Hochtief's 50 per cent stake in the joint venture, has renamed it BAC Facilities Management. The company will now commence operations under the new identity.

After signing the acquisition agreement with Hochtief representative Burkhart Zaga, Al Binfalah said that the move will not impact the operations of the company and business will run as usual.

Al Binfalah added, ?This comes in line with BAC?s plan to improve the aviation capabilities and cater to the growing number of passengers as well as the changing demands of the airport?s stakeholders.?

BAC operates and manages Bahrain International Airport, which has a gross floor space of just under 70,000 sq metres.
