Terex selects Al Mahroos as authorised Genie distributor in the UAE

Terex Middle East, a global manufacturer of lifting and material processing products, announced that it has partnered with M.H. Al Mahroos as the first fully authorised distributor and service provider for Terex?s genie products in the UAE

As per the partnership programme, Al Mahroos will be responsible for genie?s distribution and aftersales provision in Dubai and the other northern emirates, serving the customers from its facility in the Al Quoz industrial area in Dubai.

Commenting on the appointment of AL Mahroos, Sharbel Kordahi, managing director of Terex Middle East, said, ?Bringing more people with the right skills to support owners of genie fleets in Dubai and the northern emirates, Al Mahroos now provides the additional technically skilled hands to respond more rapidly and efficiently, with a level of service tailored to customers? needs.?

According to Al Mahroos, the partnership aims to enable the customers to avail Terex?s genie service solutions (GSS) and its planned maintenance packages as part of options for aftermarket service.

GSS require a regular 30 days of in-service checks and service visits in every six months or on an annual basis.

Hassan Al Mahroos, chairman and CEO of Al Mahroos group, said, ?For many small and medium sized rental companies and contractors in the UAE, this support will notably enable them to increase efficiencies and reduce costs, to rise up to current local market challenges and help them to remain competitive.?

In its role as an authorised service provider for the genie products, Al Mahroos will provide in-field support for the maintenance, training and a full range of rental fleet management solutions.

Antony Chalissery, technical service manager at Terex Middle East, added, ?In the longer-term, by keeping their genie machines maintained in prime condition, customers reap the benefits of the high resale value that genie products are known for.?

With more than 85 years of experience in the equipment business, Al Mahroos is an authorised genie distributor specialised in the sale of genie mobile access solutions across the UAE and Bahrain.
