Grundfos’ new CR pumps to provide better water application system

Grundfos launchesGrundfos Saudi Arabia company limited, one of the leading providers in advanced pump and water application systems, has upgraded its family of Vertical Inline Multistage Pumps, with a new generation of CRXL pumps, aiming to achieve better efficiency, performance and reliability

The new range of CR 95, CR 125 and CR155 has been unveiled, whereas the higher capacity to be released in the next phase would provide flow up to 320m3/h and 40 bars.

Three major cities in Saudi Arabia including Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam witnessed the official launch of the new Grundfos CRXL range in November 2018. Approximately 300 major participants took part in the series of events, including Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, National Water Company (NWC), Riyadh Development Authority(ADA) , Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) King Faisal Specialist and Research Centre and Major of Contractors and Consultants in Saudi Arabia.

Commenting on the launch, Abdulaziz Daghestani, deputy general manager at Grundfos Saudi Arabia, said, “Saudi Arabia is one of the biggest and most promising markets. The launch events across the Kingdom are designed to acquaint customers with the new generation of optimised designs for world-class energy efficiency, which further reinforce Grundfos position as a trendsetter in the Pump industry.”

“Based on extensive research, development and testing, the CR XL pumps are engineered using state-of-the-art production methods – ‘Moving the Limits’ towards new efficiency heights,” Abdulaziz Daghestani added.

Participants were given the opportunity to explore the CRXL in the Virtual Reality booth, where the CRVR App gave them a virtual tour into the new range of CRXL pumps. Apart from the insight into the technical details like test certificates and performance curves, the VR goggles engaged the senses of users to experience the new limits of high head from the top of Empire State Building, large capacity by viewing an entire township from a helicopter window and the new limits of power from inside a rally car.

The interactive experience of VR was an interesting way of utilising the latest technology to explore the features of the new range of CRXL Pumps which itself is a product of innovative technology from Grundfos.
