T he Middle East is set to host some of the most cutting-edge smart cities over the next decade, driven by the visionary leadership of regional governments focused on building smart, eco-friendly urban environments, according to industry leaders. Eng. Thamer Anwar Noori, Director of Industrial Safety & Security at the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu, shared these insights ahead of his participation at Intersec Saudi Arabia. During the event, he will contribute to a panel titled ‘Paving the Way Towards Smart, Safe, Sustainable Cities’, where he will explore innovative security strategies essential for developing future sustainable smart cities. “Cities worldwide are increasingly integrating smart city objectives into their long-term visions.
