ABB signs cooperation agreement with SaltX

SaltX Technology has signed a letter of intent with ABB regarding cooperation in systems for automation and control processes to strengthen SaltX?s technical platform of EnerStore

The companies will jointly ensure a stable and scalable control system to strengthen SaltX?s technical platform. ABB has a long and solid experience in complex control systems and will be able to contribute to optimising and securing the automation and control system in both the short and long term for the energy storage system, EnerStore of SaltX.

SaltX has previously announced that it has entered partnerships with global Sumitomo SHI FW and the Australian company Calix Limited for the development of reactors for the chemical process with the nanocoated salt.

SaltX and ABB will begin the cooperation in 2021 with the goal of installing the first joint system in the Lule? pilot.
