Megger opens office in Dubai Internet City

Opening the UAE office as regional headquarters continues our policy of getting more local support to our customers - Nick Parton , Regional Operations Manager

Megger Limited has expanded their operations by opening an office in Dubai Internet City with Nick Parton, Regional Operations Manager, at its forefront.

"Opening the UAE office as regional headquarters continues our policy of getting more local support to our customers, to improve their experience of owning a Megger instrument. Development at the new base in Dubai will lead to quicker local response to technical and service enquiries as well as better availability of product training to assist the customers in maximising their experience of their new equipment," Parton said.

Local workforce

While the company has been active in the region for several decades, the size of the local workforce has grown rapidly over the past five years. The local offices employ primarily Saudi and Bahraini engineers, who have grown from one to 11 team members, and are reporting through the regional headquarters in Dubai.

Top focus

Parton continued, "The region is one of the top focus regions for Megger. The infrastructure development that is planned and required to keep pace with the projected increase in demand for electricity over the coming 20 years is immense. There are huge opportunities in the Gulf and through the wider Middle East market, which are some of the most vibrant economies in the world."
