Ranco & Zamil has won a SAR 52 million (US$13.8 million) contract to fabricate, supply and erect precast elements on a five-storey multi-level car park project for the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defence and Aviation

The 50-50 joint venture between Zamil Industrial and Rabiah & Nassar Group was awarded the contract by Four Corners International Construction Company for the project located in the central region of Saudi Arabia.

The Riyadh-based company will design, manufacture, ship and install more than 100,000 square metres of precast concrete elements for the construction of the car park building.

Ranco & Zamil managing director Abdulla Al Zamil said, ?During the course of the project, we will supply a wide range of high-quality precast products and solutions from the design and production stage through to transportation and onsite installation.?

Al Zamil said the project would provide the firm, which was founded in 2008, with the opportunity to justify its ambitious plans for growth to the regional market.

?As the company fulfils each stage of the construction agreement, customer satisfaction with our products and services will aid us in attaining regional market growth in the precast concrete industry,? he remarked.
