Emerging tech forum gets Saudi Arabia's IT Ministry support

Saudi Arabias Ministry of Communications and IT has officially joined the Saudi Emerging Technologies Forum as the main sponsor of the event

The Saudi Emerging Technologies Forum is scheduled to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 11-13 November 2019.

Organised by Eyes of Cities in collaboration with The Great Minds Group, the conference is supported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Monshaat, BIAC, DTVC, and others.

The Saudi Emerging Technologies Forum is set to be a vital platform to attract more than US$100bn investments for digital transformation. The event will see sessions on emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, blockchain and others.

The forum will gather over 100 government officials and senior-level executives, more than 40 speakers will be leading 12-panel discussions with the participation of 300 attendees, 60 exhibitors, 10 certified technical workshops, 30 proof of concepts and live demo sessions, and a dedicated day for IoT. Furthermore, 10 individuals will be conferred with awards of excellence in recognition of their efforts in digitisation.

Chiara Palieri, director of the Saudi Emerging Technologies Forum, said stakeholder collaboration, brainstorming and a showcase of upcoming plans at the event will contribute to the Saudi Vision 2030 realisation programme.
