Al-Futtaim Engineering has been awarded a facilities maintenance contract by the UAE ministry of education, the company has said in a statement
The company would undertake the maintenance of electrical, plumbing, firefighting, fire alarm and civil works for 72 government schools in Dubai and Sharjah.
The total value of the contract was, however, undisclosed.
The new contract is an addition to the ministry of education's earlier agreement with Al-Futtaim Engineering to undertake maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) facilities covering 250 schools in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
