Printer manufacturer OKI Europe has announced the appointment of Thomas Seeber to its executive management team as vice-president for channel and distribution
Seeber said, ?It is an exciting time to be joining OKI Europe. With the experience I?ve gathered in channel management over many years, I am looking forward to helping deliver a bright future for the business.?
Prior to joining OKI Europe, Seeber was with Matica Technologies where he was vice-president for global sales of the printer division. He has also previously held senior roles with local, global and pan-European responsibilities at Samsung Electronics and Lexmark International.
In this new, channel-focused role, Seeber will be responsible for channel sales and marketing for both hardware and consumables together with distribution across Europe, Middle East and Asia, contributing to growth strategies at both distribution and reseller levels. He will also work closely with other members of OKI Europe?s senior team to drive synergies across the region and a more coordinated approach to market.
OKI Europe has brought in Seeber and other additional talent to achieve its strategic business objectives and significant growth targets as part of a wider restructuring of its senior leadership team.
The appointments are part of the company?s ongoing commitment to deliver business growth in the office solutions, professional print and vertical industry segments, OKI Europe said.
?We are very pleased to welcome Thomas to the OKI Europe business,? said Terry Kawashima, managing director at OKI Europe. ?With his proven track record in channel management, I am confident he will contribute significantly to accelerated success in our crucial channel business,? he added.
Seeber takes charge of his duties with immediate effect.
