Bee?ah to expand waste management services into Saudi Arabia

Bee?ah, the Sharjah-based waste management company, has said it will look to expand its geographical reach and provision of services to the Saudi Arabian market

A company delegation is set to travel across the kingdom and hold a series of meetings with government officials and representatives from environment and energy sectors.

HE Salim Al Owais, chairman of Bee?ah, said, ?Bee?ah has reached a point where it is now prepared to export and replicate its waste management expertise in other countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and the Saudi Arabia environment market offers the greatest potential due to its vast landscape and its similarities with Sharjah in terms of population density and industrial areas.?

Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO at Bee?ah, said, ?Tandeef, Bee?ah?s waste collection and street cleaning division, has successfully delivered innovative waste and recyclables collection and street cleaning services.

?We will be holding a series of discussions with key entities in Saudi Arabia to extend our expertise and best practices in the waste management industry to major cities such as Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah and Dammam,? Huraimel added.

Bee?ah will also participate at the Gulf Environment Forum in Riyadh from 14 to 16 April at the Four Seasons Hotel where it will present its latest solutions and initiatives in managing solid waste, waste water, air pollution and scrap metal.

At the exhibition, Tandeef will showcase its current and newest fleet of waste collection, street sweeping and cleaning vehicles at Bee?ah?s stand, as well as a presentation of all the facilities it manages and operates, including products and services it offers.
