Alaa For Industry (AFI) is celebrating its 30th anniversary since it opened the first showroom and workshop in Damman, Saudi Arabia
Having started as a distributor of hydraulic components and seals in 1984, the company now provides engineering products and services for a range of industries, such as hydraulics, pneumatics, transportation, and power transmission.
An AFI representative said, ?Over the past years, customers have demanded better and faster service so that down time of their capital assets is kept to a minimum. In order to support our customers, AFI has established service workshops in branches like Riyadh, Jeddah, Jubail, and Yanbu.?
The engineering equipment provider now boasts more than 1,200 employees working across a total of 18 branches, 14 of which are found in Saudi Arabia.
?These achievements would not have been possible without the people who have shared their talents, dedications, and commitments,? the representative added. ?And of course, it is because of our loyal customers and our valued suppliers who supported us for the past three decades.?
Nine years after its initial launch, AFI opened its first overseas branch in Bahrain and in the following decade branches were also opened in Kuwait, Qatar and the US.
