SRTI Park, Lithuania discuss cooperation in innovation

The Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) has received an official delegation from the Republic of Lithuania headed by Simonas Gentvilas, minister of environment

The delegation was received by Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTI Park, and several officials from the Park.

During a meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in several fields of technology, as well as enhancing communication channels between the two sides during Lithuania's participation in Expo 2020, which will provide new opportunities for Lithuanian companies to enhance their position in the UAE through cooperation with the SRTI Park.

Al Mahmoudi stated, during his meeting with the delegation, that the UAE and Lithuania linked their future to innovation and progress, stressing that innovation is one of the most prominent areas that carry opportunities for cooperation.

The delegation listened to an introductory explanation about the most important features, services and facilities the SRTI Park provides to investors, in addition to its readiness to provide all facilities for Lithuanian companies wishing to invest in development which is considered a vital point on which the mission of the Park is based through supporting, encouraging and developing the innovation system.
