Power protection, cooling and connectivity solutions provider Tripp Lite believes that Dubai remains a top choice in the region for companies to establish themselves in, a top official said.
"Dubai is a regional hub... we do not see any city offering any competition in terms of ready-made infrastructure and growth opportunities to SMEs [small and medium enterprises]," Vipin Sharma, Tripp Lite's Vice-President for EMEA Sales, told Khaleej Times in an interview.
Chicago-based Tripp Lite - whose parent company, Tripp Lite Manufacturing, has been in the industry for around 85 years. The company has been in the region for over 14 years, with its regional office in the UAE serving as a hub for the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe markets.
The company established warehouses in Dubai and Holland to serve logistics for its entire area of operations. Sharma said that Tripp Lite is continuing to identify strategic wholesalers and solution integrators who can grow its business in each country, particularly in the Middle East.
