Emrill Services LLC (Emrill), the UAE-based integrated facilities management provider, has launched the CMAR NC 286R hot water pavement cleaner with suction, the first of its kind in the UAE
The new machine was unveiled at a handover ceremony in Downtown Dubai, which was attended by major stakeholders from Emrill, Emaar and the supplier of the CMAR NC 286R, Viking Gulf.
Gopalakrishnan, operations director at Emrill, said that the advanced street-cleaning technology aims to reduce manpower requirements while not compromising on quality.
?The CMAR NC 286R is highly effective, using high-pressure hot water to remove grease, dirt, sand and chewing gum from outdoor surfaces. Dirty water is extracted via a suction system, which leaves the area immaculately clean and dry,? Gopalakrishnan added.
Describing the environmental benefits of the pavement cleaner, David Nice, general manager of operations at Emrill, added that the CMAR cleaner does not require any additional chemicals to achieve results and results in a 30 per cent reduction in water used.
According to the company, the CMAR NC 286R provides cost-savings to the operator and the client.
Gopalakrishnan added, ?Not only does the CMAR achieve better results than manual cleaning, but it was also clear it had the potential to generate great savings, increase efficiency and make life much easier for the team.?
The CMAR pavement cleaner will be located in Downtown Dubai, predominantly within the Downtown Master Community, while servicing other external areas and car parks in the Downtown area.
Emrill is planning to add additional CMAR pavement cleaners to the fleet in the future to service other master communities such as Dubai Marina.
