Dubai-based developer Nakheel has announced a new waterside residential and leisure project for Palm Jumeirah
Palm Views East and West will consist of 192 residential units, as well as retail, dining and fitness facilities, and will be located at Palm Jumeirah?s East and West Marinas close to the recently-announced Palm Mall.
Nakheel chairman Ali Rashid Lootah remarked, ?Palm Views will appeal to young, vibrant individuals and couples who want a prestigious address at a price they can afford.
?We are proud to add this exciting new concept to the ever-growing range of homes, hotels, retail and leisure projects that, together, make Palm Jumeirah one of the most sought-after locations in the world.?
The development will be spread across two buildings each containing 96 residential units, with construction scheduled to start by the end of 2012 and completed by the end of Q1 2014.
According to Nakheel, the residential units will be constructed in a ?pied-?-terre? style and will each offer panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai skyline.
Nakheel has said that each unit at Palm Views has been designed to maximise energy efficiency and will include individual air conditioning systems that residents will be able to pay for directly, thereby making them more cost effective.
