Starting in the second half of 2016, Sany will be equipping its new SW405 wheel loaders with Deutzs TCD 7.8 diesel engines

Engine manufacturer Deutz will be responsible for equipping Chinese construction machinery manufacturer Sany?s wheel loaders with their ?Stage V ready? engines.

The engines currently meet the US EPA Tier 4 and EU Stage IV emissions standards. The standard exhaust after treatment system features a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR).

The company also claims to have fitted them with diesel particulate filters (DPF) which help the engines fulfill the next emissions standard (EU Stage V) expected to come into force in 2019.

According to the company, the engines also meet the requirements for more strictly regulated markets (Switzerland or municipal applications in Germany, for example).

Deutz's water-cooled, six-cylinder in-line engine also claims to be able to produce 160 to 290 kW at 2,300 revolutions per minute.

Sany?s wheel loader segment head Chen Guizhi said, "We are delighted to be collaborating with Deutz on our Stage IV wheel loader for highly regulated markets. The engine specification and modular exhaust after treatment is beneficial for us, and we have found working with the DEUTZ global network to be a very positive experience."
