AVEVA will demonstrate an integrated strategy to organise and control workflow processes between important disciplines at the 7th Symposium on Industrial Systems and Control (SISC) 2012, to be held in Saudi Arabia
The presentation 'Process Plant Instrumentation Integrated in Engineering and Design', will focus on the management of workflow between process, piping and electrical departments across a global project.
"Our presentation will examine how the Instrument Engineering Group in process plant projects is responsible for the 'nerve system' of the plant. These responsibilities include the layout of any control room and control system hardware and software.
"One major activity of this group is to define the physical hardware elements that constitute the online and offline instruments for the project," said AVEVA senior vice president, East EMEA, Dirk Drozd.
"We will demonstrate how an integrated software strategy can help to organise the workflow processes between the process, piping and electrical departments as part of a distributed global project," Drozd added.
AVEVA will also showcase its latest products, AVEVA Electrical and AVEVA Instrumentation at the event. The products offer enhanced engineering, design, documentation and management for electrical and instrumentation across the entire lifecycle of an asset.
The solutions can be implemented as stand-alone, integrated as part of AVEVA's Integrated & Engineering Design or with any other third party software.
