BEAMA to host 13 UK manufacturers at Middle East Energy

BEAMA, the UK association for manufacturers of vital products, technologies and services that deliver a safe, reliable and smart end-to-end energy system, will host 13 manufacturers from the UK at the Middle East Energy (MEE), a global energy platform

MEE will see BEAMA hosting the UK Pavilion in Hall 2 from 3-5 March.

The exhibiting companies are:

BEAMA: As an association, BEAMA represents manufacturers in the energy, power and electrical installation sectors, a UK industry with a turnover of US$16bn and a workforce of 137,000. (H2.F16 & H2.G16)

BPC Energy: The British Power Conversion Company is an international company offering a range of power protection products and services for the computer, telecoms, mid-range computers, data centres, emergency lighting, industrial and three-phase market sectors. (H2.F17)

BG Electrical (Luceco plc): BG Electrical is an integral part of the Luceco plc group of companies in the UK. With more than 70 years of experience in the manufacture and distribution of electrical accessories, BG has gained an enviable reputation. The company?s range of wiring accessories has been tested and approved by ASTA and ESMA, G-Mark and complies with all Middle East and North African standards. (H2.G19)

Deligo Ltd: Deligo is a distributor of specialist electrical fasteners, fixings, tools, cable management, circuit protection and wiring accessories. (H2.G17)

Flexicon Ltd: Flexicon, part of Atkore International, is a UK manufacturer of cable protection solutions, offering the highest fire performance requirements to meet the latest global standards. (H2.F28)

IPEC Ltd: IPEC Ltd are experts in the field of on-line partial discharge (PD) testing of MV and HV plants. They have technology for detecting and positioning PD in cables, switchgear and accessories. Their PD test equipment ranges from handheld solutions to permanently installed solutions. (H2.F26)

REPL International Ltd: REPL International Ltd is a global manufacturer of low and medium voltage cable connections and terminations. The company is headquartered in the UK, with worldwide sales presence and global manufacturing facilities. They specialise in heat-shrink, cold-shrink, smart termination and push-on products. GW Wiring Products Ltd: Established in 1980, the company?s mission is to manufacture high quality cable ties at competitive prices. GW is ISO certified, and the cable ties are UL listed and RoHS compliant. GW cable ties come in a wide range of colours and materials such as ultraviolet ray resistant and heat stabilised. (H2.G12)

Lawson Fuses Ltd: Lawson Fuses manufactures LV fuselinks and fuse-holders for use in distribution networks, house service, industrial applications, motor circuits and semiconductor protection. Products are ASTA 20 Authorised to the latest IEC/BS standards. The final distribution product range includes mcbs, isolators and distribution boards. (H2.G10)

Scolmore Group: For more than 25 years, Scolmore Group, a UK-based manufacturer, has designed and manufactured high-quality and innovative electrical appliances. With the new group company ?Scolmore Dubai?, they will be exhibiting at MEE to showcase their wide range of wiring accessories and the latest additions to their product portfolio. (H2.F10)

HOBUT (Howard Butler Ltd): Hobut is a UK manufacturer employing more than 100 employees. The company manufactures current transformers, analogue and digital instrumentation, protection relays, transducers, earth leakage devices and more. (H2.G11)

MXB British Group Ltd: MXB is a British company with a long-established UAE base. MXB supplies a wide range of environmentally friendly LED lighting, decorative lighting and wiring equipment. Thanks to its strong presence in Africa and the MENA Region, the company is proud of its customer satisfaction with products with optimum performance and long life. (H2.G15)

Terasaki Electric (Europe) Ltd: Terasaki Electric was founded in Scotland in 1972. They operate in more than 50 countries worldwide with the help of their partners and branches. In Glasgow, the company assemble, modify and test Terasaki circuit breakers. Terasaki is said to be the world market leader for sw marine switchgear. (H2.F20)

BEAMA also formed the Anti-counterfeit Working Group (ACWG) in 2000 with the aim of stemming the flow of counterfeit products by taking action against the counterfeiters manufacturing electrical installation products, and the traders who distribute them to many international markets including the Middle East and Africa which form an important part of our members? export businesses. This work has achieved global recognition for its proactive work and receives cooperation from trade associations around the world.
