dmg events have announced the launch of The Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards, set to open in-person on 27 June 2021 at the Cairo International Convention Centre alongside The Big 5 Construct Egypt event
At its inaugural ceremony, The Big 5 Egypt Impact awards will honour the people, organisations, and projects that are driving sustainable development, innovation, and transformation in Egypt?s booming construction industry.
Muhammed Kazi, the vice-resident at dmg events, said, ?I am delighted to report that in its first edition The Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards have received entries from over 50 leading architectural, engineering and construction businesses operating across Egypt.
?The project market in Egypt has presented as a top performer in the MENA region despite the COVID-19 impact and we are excited to recognise the businesses and people behind this outstanding resilience.?
Across 19 categories, the awards will explore Egypt?s most outstanding construction projects and leaders. In addition, they will celebrate young construction professionals in the sector, and feats of inclusion and diversity, innovation and health and safety.
Entries will be examined against individual category criteria by an independent and international panel comprising 16 industry experts.

Winners of The Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards will be announced during a live ceremony on Sunday, 27 June 2021 at the Cairo International Convention Centre (CICC). The Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards are organised by dmg events and sponsored by The Arab Contractors Company, Hassan Allam Holding, and Siemens Egypt.
