Around 19 companies will be exhibiting on the French pavilion organised by Business France at the Middle East Energy (formerly known as Middle East Electricity) conference, to be held at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 3-5 March

Positioned as a global energy event, the Middle East Energy (MEE) 2020 is set to bring together manufacturers and suppliers covering the entire energy value chain.

Expected to generate interest and attract a large number of local professionals, the French pavilion will represent the sector, showcasing equipment and applications for power generation, transmission and distribution, protection and security products and systems, lighting etc.

As the Middle East is expected to attract US$109bn investment within the next five years, the development of tourism, mass distribution, transport and logistics, growth outside the hydrocarbon market are fueling regional markets demand.

Frederic Szabo, managing director at Business France Middle East, stated, ?France has strong expertise, cutting-edge technology and diversified range of services in this sector, with internationally recognised flagship companies (e.g. RTE, EDF, Schneider Electric).?

?French companies, having gone digital, are highly qualified to operate at all levels of the value chain, whether they are electricity and telecoms network operators, engineering firms, integrators, equipment manufacturers, component producers or ICT companies,? Szabo added.
