The Facilities Management Leaders? Summit will be organised on the opening day of FM EXPO Saudi and Saudi Clean Expo, to be held at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events from 14 - 16 January 2018
The expo is expected to feature continued professional development (CPD) certified free-to-attend workshops across all three days and is co-located with HVACR Expo Saudi. Organised by dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa and MICE Arabia, the workshops will cover updated industry topics such as legionella, the emergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) and shifting financial influencers like privatisation and VAT.
With the objective of driving operational efficiencies and cost effectiveness in the Saudi market, industry experts across the world are set to follow an agenda focused emerging trends and best practices within the regional facilities management sector.
Nathan Waugh, event director for FM EXPO Saudi and Saudi Clean Expo, said that the summit aims to introduce international best practices, give foresight into the evolution of their industry in Saudi Arabia and highlight the big project opportunities for the FM industry in the region.
The summit is expected to include updates in building automation and connectivity. Adrian Jarvis, director of FSI Middle East, together with Jason Reuhland, chief executive of KSA, will explore how the FM industry can benefit from such innovations.
The second segment of the summit, ?Spotlight Sessions,? is set to look into emerging education, healthcare, hospitality and transport sectors in Saudi Arabia and present both case studies of updated FM projects and insight into contract opportunities in the country.
Alistaire Smylie, group chief operating and development officer at INITIAL Saudi Group, said that FM EXPO Saudi will highlights the demand for innovative and cost-effective facilities management solutions across the kingdom.
The 2018 edition of FM EXPO Saudi and Saudi Clean Expo is expected to attract more than 1,500 industry professionals from around the region.
