Prysmian Group, world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, has showcased its state-of-the-art technologies at Middle East Energy 2023, the electrical industry’s largest show in the Middle East, taking place in Dubai from March 7 to 9, 2023 (booth S1.G10)p

Within the product portfolio on display at MEE 2023, including HV/EHV underground and submarine cable systems and innovative specialties such as the PRY-CAM technology, the Group will present an array of product ranges that reinforce the Group’s commitment to sustainability, like innovative leadless cable designs for challenging environmental conditions and cable solutions for renewable energy applications.

“Middle East Energy is a premier platform in the Region and Prysmian Group is proud to present our full range of products”, stated Cinzia Farisè, CEO MEAT Region Prysmian Group. “We rely not only on a vast product range, but also on a strong presence with offices and factories throughout the Middle East to support the energy transition in the Region”, she added.

Prysmian Group’s presence at MEE 2023 will be the stage to present its new Prysmian PRYSOLAR cables in the Middle East Region, following the launch at Genera 2023 in February.

Prysmian PRYSOLAR is the result of the extensive G\group R&D efforts to face the most unpredictable challenges coming from the massively increasing solar applications market and anticipate the future. Thanks to an innovative and first-in-the-industry test protocol that certifies long term resistance in water for DC cables, Prysmian PRYSOLAR offers extreme climate strength and +30-years lifetime, which – for customers - translate into reliable return on investment, increased operation efficiency of assets, reduced OPEX and lower levelised cost of energy.

“Solar photovoltaic generation is set to cover more than 50% of the global electricity demand by 2050. Return on investment, asset efficiency, OPEX and Levelised Cost of Energy are the main and most critical priorities for our customers in the solar industry. Prysmian PRYSOLAR is the new generation of cables designed to provide our solar customers with peace of mind in these areas”, commented Vanessa Alvarez, senior vice-president, industrial specialties, Prysmian Group.
