On display will be Hardox?500Tuf for the tipper industry, Hardox? 600 with increased bendability to offer more applications to the mining industry, cement factories and quarries and Hardox? Hitemp, a unique product that can withstand high temperatures.
Unique solutions for each market segment
?SSAB products have unique solutions for each market segment considering their business dynamics. In heavy transport, the most important issue is to increase the payload capacity without compromising the strength and at the same time to reduce fuel consumption as much as possible. For this segment, we offer our customers different grades and thicknesses of Hardox? wear plates in the tipper body and Strenx? performance steel in the chassis,? said Ozgur Yalcin, area sales manager for the Middle East at SSAB.
?For raw material handling customers, the main issue is wearing the equipment and the unexpected stops in the machines due to material failure. SSAB offers the highest wear resistant steels to our customers depending on the application. The hardness of the steel varies between 400HB and 600HB so that our customers can control the wearing of the machine and avoid the unexpected stops thanks to the excellent material properties of Hardox? wear plate,? Yalcin added.
?Our new introductions have increased our market penetration further,? he noted. ?The Hardox? 600 material offers unparalleled bendability to the mining industry, cement factories, crushers and quarries so they can use the Hardox?600 in a wider range of applications. The other product called Hardox? Hitemp for high-temperature application has also been successfully promoted in the market.?
