The UAE-based Mineral Circles Bearings (MCB) has partnered with Automechanika Dubai, one of the region?s leading event organisers, for West Africa roadshow from 21-22 November 2017
Michel Peltier, regional sales manager of MCB, said that the company aims to explore the bull market potential of West Africa?s budding automotive industry during this two-day roadshow in Ivory Coast and Nigeria.
The speakers from government and private sectors are expected to share cross functional experiences and knowledge based initiatives for the auto industry?s benefit, said Peltier.
According to MCB, its sales and marketing team is mapping the blueprint for long term strategic business partnerships through onsite visits, research and inter-agency dialogs as positive domestic economic activity is foreseen throughout the region.
?We are ready to provide 80 per cent of the bearing requirements of West Africa,?said Hassanein Alwan, marketing director and in-house engineer at MCB.
?Since last year, we started to streamline our goals to drive investments in this area as we see a big potential in Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Cameroon and Senegal,? he added.
Alwan further mentioned that the growing demand for Korean, French and Japanese car market along with the establishment of logistics and distribution hubs such as neighbouring Ghana's free zone are seen to help MCB to achieve its goal.
MCB?s product portfolio include grease, tools, oil seals, universal joints and cv joints for distribution and the company provides service to more than 65 countries worldwide.
The company said that it will showcase its HEAVY DUTY EP3 High Load grease, which is suitable for trucks and heavy applications. According to the company, this lubrication solution has been formulated aiming to withstand the humidity and hot temperatures of the region.
