Telecom operator Etisalat has launched its 4G LTE and eLife services with the help of VSAT technology in Dubai, UAE
According to Etisalat, they are the first operators to launch 4G LTE and eLife services via VSAT in the Middle East, which would allow customers in remote areas access to high-speed data and eLife channels.
4G LTE is a standard for wireless communication of high-speed data for mobile phones and data terminals.
Tareq Abdulla AlKharji, senior vice-president, data centres and cloud solution at Etisalat, said, ?VSAT technology provides a powerful and secure connectivity solution for companies that work in remote areas. Etisalat has more than two decades of experience providing advanced solutions for a wide range of customers, from major oil companies to government entities.?
The launch of 4G LTE and eLife services via the VSAT technology falls in line with Etisalat?s commitment to offer high-speed broadband connectivity and entertainment experiences to customers in remote areas, be it in the desert or out at sea, added AlKharji.
