Oracle wins ERP and IT solutions deal

Nuqul Group has announced the selection of Oracle Corporation as its strategic vendor for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Nuqul Group is a conglomerate of 30 companies and one of the region's leading industrial groups. It exports its products to over 45 markets worldwide and is currently present in diverse sectors such as: construction, stationery, automotive, packaging and printing, converting and paper mills. The partnership will run for the coming five years and will engage Nuqul Group with Oracle's team of consultants and partners to license all of the group's business units.

The new solutions will enhance the Nuqul's performance in different areas including: human capital, finance, supply chain, demand planning and forecasting, manufacturing and maintenance management; in addition to retail execution, performance management, budgeting and forecasting, integrated margin and operations planning and business intelligence systems.

The deployment of the system will be launched first at the Nuqul's companies in Egypt to expand over the upcoming five years to include the group's core business units in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Algeria and Morocco.
