UAE airline RAK Airways has begun operating three flights a week to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
According to Gulf News, the flights are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday until 28 October 2013, departing from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport at 07:30, UAE local time.
From 29 October 2013 onwards, the airline is expected to increase its flight frequency to Riyadh to four flights a week. In this winter schedule, flights to Riyadh will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and will depart at 08:30 from Ras Al Khaimah.
Earlier in 2013, RAK Airways launched flights to Islamabad, Pakistan and Amman, Jordan. The airline also announced that it plans to launch flights to 40 new destinations by 2015. The airline emerged from a restructuring in 2010 under new management.
