The production of ceramic and cement in Iran has grown by 7.8 per cent and 4.1 per cent respectively during the last six months, compared to the same period last year
Ceramic output totalled 139.1mn tons while cement output stood at 38.8mn tons, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) quoted industry minister, Mohammad Fatemian, as saying.
Industry, Mine and Trade minister, Mehdi Ghazanfari, added that around 340mn tons of minerals were extracted in the past Iranian year, which ended on March 19.
