Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), world?s largest district cooling services provider, has reported the successful results of this year?s summer campaign ?Smile at 24 degrees?? driving in 5.4 per cent savings on district cooling energy consumption
The campaign, which ran for four months during this summer, was aimed towards increasing awareness on the unified move to achieve sustainable development and the importance of energy conservation.
The ?Smile at 24 degrees? campaign was launched in June this year asking the district cooling consumers to set their AC units to 24?C to help save on their electricity bill, while also saving on energy and the future. Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO, Empower, said, ?We are proud to report that our ?Smile at 24 degrees? initiative has generated excellent results 5.4 per cent in savings on district cooling energy consumption.
