Al Masaood Power partners with Nidec-Leroy Somer for Gulf aftersales workshop

The workshop will provide a one-stop service workshop for electric motors and alternators, providing aftersales support for the Leroy-Somer and Kato Engineering product range

Marine propulsion and power generation specialist, Al Masaood Power Divison, has partnered with Nidec Leroy-Somer, worldwide leader in alternators, motors and drives, joining forces to collaborate on a one-stop service workshop in the Gulf region, providing aftersales support for Leroy-Somer and Kato Engineering alternators.

The agreement builds upon the companies' existing partnership to address the increasing demand in aftersales support within the regional electrification market.  

Al Masaood Power GM, Rasso Bartenschlager, explained: ?The specialized world of electrification includes alternators, electric motors and drives, demands a whole new aftersales service. Our support platform, which will be available in the UAE, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait, will be specifically designed to cater to the complex requirements of this expanding industry in the region. This latest partnership forms part of the shared commitment of both companies to continuously enhance their capabilities necessary for them to become the leaders in the future of the global and regional electrification markets.? 

Both companies will have service capabilities to offer support in diagnostics, repair and overhauls following the agreement, including spare parts and retrofits on-site or at the repair and overhaul workshop.
