Saudi Arabia?s Nesma Electric has been awarded a US$21.3mn engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) substation contract by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC)
The deal will see the firm build a 110/13.8kV substation at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), that will be known as Kaust-2.

The new substation is reportedly on a fast-track construction schedule and the project is being financed by Saudi Aramco and supervised by SEC.
