Saudi Electricity agrees US$308mn worth of power deals

Saudi Electricity Co. (SECO) signed contracts valued at US$308mn with two local companies to develop power facilities in the kingdom.

The contracts are for building a transformer station in Qassim and two electricity lines, one linking Mecca and Taif and another one linking Tabuk with Dhaba, Asharq al-Awsat reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Ali Al Barrak.
