Saudi minister of environment has launched water transmission and technologies company to improve water-based infrastructure across Saudi Arabia

WTTCO will manage and maintain water transmission, distribution and storage systems across over 8,400km, transmitting more than 7 million m3 of desalinated water every day across Saudi Arabia. Aligned with the Saudi 2030 vision, the WTTCO will work to improve efficiency and impact in the water sector, and drive innovation in technology and research. 

Al-Fadhli considers the establishment of WTTCO to be a key step in enhancing the water sector whilst contributing to a propserous future four the Saudi Arabian economy. The water sector will do so by bringing in more than SAR 60 billion in private investment in transmission and storage systems. 

Eng. Abdullah Bin Ibrahim Al-Abdlkareem, SWCC Governor and WTTCO?s Chairman of the Board affirmed the important role the WTTCO will play in managing, constructing, developing and maintaining water transmission, storage and dispatch systems, and add more than 3,500km of transmission lines, which wll distribute more than 4 million m3 per day to communities and businesses.

Local Saudi talent will be developed and trained to make up over 97% of WTTCO's workforce.
