Farnek gets US$97mn worth of contracts in H1 2023

Farnek has secured contracts valued at US$97mn during the first six months of 2023

The UAE-based company, which provides smart and green facilities management services, was awarded a total of 69 contracts in H1 of this year. 65% of projects are located in Dubai, 18% in Abu Dhabi and 17% in the rest of the northern emirates. About 1,450 members of staff will be mobilised to sites across the UAE during this year as well, the company said. 

The company services industry sectors such as energy, security, aviation, hospitality, retail and residential property. The scope of work includes a considerable number of contracts for total facilities management (TFM) as well as dedicated hard and soft services such as MEP, cleaning, maintenance, security, and housekeeping appointments. 

Part of these contracts include those such as cleaning and maintenance at Expo City, a hard services contract for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in Abu Dhabi, as well as TFM for Dubai-based aviation services company ExecuJet as well as the Dubai Police. It has also retained its contract for MEP hard services for Burj Khalifa.
