WKB Systems GmbH, a German manufacturer of production lines, modernisation and automatisation solutions for AAC (autoclaved aerated concrete) has announced the completion of a plant modernisation project in Poland

According to the company, the main goals of the plant modernisation were improvements in the sustainability of production processes, the product quality as well as the equipment productivity.

In order to satisfy all the requirements of the customer, experts at WKB Systems developed a custom-made cutting line for a wide range of AAC products (blocks and panels) of different sizes to be manufactured. The main characteristics of this cutting line are the high cutting precision and perfect cutting quality.

The next step of the plant modernisation was the integration of a green cake separating machine (GSM) into the production process. This machine was tailored to the customer?s AAC cake size and is used to separate all the AAC blocks/panels before autoclaving, in order to prevent their sticking to each other. As a result, the production output is significantly increased. Furthermore, the operation factor of autoclaves as well as the economic efficiency of the plant with respect to the energy consumption were improved.green cake separating2

After the completion of the modernisation project, the Polish AAC manufacturer not only reached previously set goals but increased its market share in the international AAC market.

WKB Systems manufactures innovative production technology and equipment for autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), sand-lime bricks and dry mortar mixes.

The scope of supply of WKB Systems comprises a broad range of services for customers around the globe, starting with the competent consultation and configuration of tried and tested solutions, through the design and manufacturing of systems up to the commissioning and staff training at the customer's location as well as spare and wear parts supply.
