Bauer International is currently constructing a pedestrian tunnel at Nation Towers in Abu Dhabi, which, going under the existing Corniche Road, will link the shopping complex and other components to a purpose built beach club.
The work on this project takes in the construction of a 78 linear metre pile wall, 900 mm diameter, to retain a 10 m excavation depth, with eight tieback anchors and supporting struts.
In addition, soil stabilisation works encompassed the installation 54 grouting pipes with a diameter of 88.90 and a length of approximately 88.0 m. Completion is slated for October 2011.
