Drake & Scull wins construction project is Saudi Arabia and UAE

Drake & Scull International has won US$180mn worth of contracts to construct three government complexes in Saudi Arabia and the UAE

The company said that it will initiate operations on the project sites soon.

The government facility in Makkah, Saudi Arabia is set to be completed in Q4 2013, whereas the facilities in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in UAE will be handed over in the Q1 and Q2 2015.

Drake & Scull International CEO Khaldoun Tabari said, ?Saudi Arabia and the UAE continue to be our main growth markets in the GCC as we have managed to secure a series of consecutive contracts in these areas to date.

?These projects will shortly start contributing to the revenue stream and profitability of the company as productivity on site increases. The integration of our General Contracting and Engineering businesses has proven to be a key element to our successful bids across all sectors and we expect this trend to continue onwards.?
