Construction consultancy Driver Group has entered a JV with Canada-based project management consultancy MHPM Project Managers Inc for projects in the GCC countries
Driver Group focuses on providing construction and engineering services, supporting contractors and property owners over construction disputes. The company aims to bridge gaps between representatives in the construction, legal and financial sectors. MHPM Project Leaders specialise in leading infrastructure projects.
According to officials at MHPM, the JV would enable the two companies to provide GCC clients with services pertaining to project management. The services would cover Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.
Franklin Holtforster, president and CEO of MHPM, said, ?We are pleased to partner with Driver. The relationship gives MHPM the infrastructure and connections across the Middle East to provide clients with superior project leadership.?
Dave Webster, CEO of Driver Group added that the strategic partnership would accelerate project management across the region with the necessary experience and skill sets that clients expect.
Recently, MHPM opened an office in Dubai, and appointed Yamin Shahab as director for Dubai operations. Shahab has previously worked on projects such as Meydan and the Green Line stations on the Dubai Metro.
