Dubai-based property developer Omniyat Group has launched a seafront project called ANWA in Dubai Maritime City (DMC)
The ground-breaking ceremony of the project was attended by senior officials from both companies.
Australia?s Kele has been chosen as the contractor for the project, and Al Ghurair Contracting and Engineering Works the specialist contractor for piling works. The project is part of a series of projects at the DMC that include 53 mixed-use projects, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants and 10 parks.
Khamis Juma Buamim, chairman of DMC, said, ?We are delighted to take part in the ceremony to break ground on ANWA by Omniyat. This project will play a key role in positioning Dubai Maritime City as an ideal location for modern living with a perfect work-life balance. ANWA will be a key component of Dubai Maritime City offering an ideal living experience by the sea.?
There would be a total of 225 units with 29 studios, 80 one-bedroom, 87 two-bedroom and 23 three-bedroom apartments, one penthouse and five townhouses. It will also have 755 sqm of retail area as well as landscaped gardens, gymnasium, infinity pool, kids pool and play area and barbeque area, added officials from Omaniyat.

According to officials at the Omaniyat Group, ANWA is expected to be a landmark project in Dubai Maritime City. It is located right next to the marina and the boardwalk, and positioned on the stretch as the Four Seasons and the Bulgari hotels.
