Ejadah, Dubai-based total community solutions provider, and Idama, the facilities management solutions provider, have deployed new drone technology and digitised cost-saving solutions in their operation
Idama is one of the first in the UAE to use EVO4HSE drones in its goal to provide clients with premium services revolutionising the facilities and asset management industry as a whole.
Some of the major solutions that drone usage provides include 360? inspections to ensure availability, safety and reliability of the asset and bird?s eye views which help property owners or managers assess the sustainability of the business operations.
This year, technology achieved a saving of more than US$9.37mn in costs with the digitisation and optimisation of building environments. Additionally, the use of advanced technology has reduced energy consumption by 25 per cent.
According to Ejadah, 25-40 per cent of energy saving opportunities are missed due to a faulty Building Management Systems (BMS).
In order to address this, Ejadah utilises the most advanced meters, aiming to provide results that are within 99.8 per cent accuracy. More than 135,000 data points are monitored while 4.7bn data sets are analysed each year.
?We are rigorously investing in research and technology to provide our clients with sustainable and efficient solutions with the aim of their benefit as well for the greater good of the country and global environment. Dashboards and meters alone don't generate savings. By collaborating with site teams, using the right technology and proactively seeking idyllic solutions, we are converting 67 per cent of opportunities identified through our technology, into tangible energy reductions,? explained Tarek Nizameddin, senior executive director of Ejadah.
Ejadah has also showcased at the latest technological innovation in high-performance building solutions in Building Automation and Maintenance Summit on 14 November 2018 in Dubai.
