Cayan Investment and Development will be inaugurating its award-winning Infinity Tower project in Dubai on 10 June 2013

The launch of the Infinity Tower will follow the company receiving a certificate of completion from Dubai Municipality. The inauguration event will bring together a number of the UAE?s prominent figures from the construction industry.

President and chairman of the board of Cayan Group, Ahmed M Al Hatti, said, ?Infinity Tower has been built according to the highest international standards for towers that won it several international awards. The tower has received Best Architecture award at London?s International Property Awards as well as four Arab Real Estate Awards in Dubai.?

The tower was designed by Skidmore Owings and Merrill, otherwise known for projects such as Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Trump Tower in Chicago and Jin Mao in Shanghai. It is a 75-storey tower, rising at approximately 310 meters which makes it the highest twisted tower in the entire world.

Infinity tower apartments have been designed with wooden floors, marble counter tops and kitchen fixtures. The tower also includes a five-story parking garage. The rooms of the tower have been designed in a way that they won?t be affected by direct sunlight due to titanium metal panels on cast-in-place concrete columns aided with repetitive staggered screen panels to stop sunlight penetration.

The tower will offer residents panoramic views of the Palm Dubai Sea or Marina due to its 90 degree curve from top to bottom.

The tower?s construction was on hold for a year and a half after the foundation site of the tower was flooded when a wall that held back the Dubai Marina's water was breached in 2007.
