KONE Corporation to supply elevators and escalators for Dubai Hills Mall

Finland?s KONE Corporation said it would supply elevators, escalators and travelators for the Dubai Hills Mall in the UAE

The company will deliver 88 escalators, two inclined autowalks and 66 elevators for the mall, which will be part of the planned Mohammed Bin Rashid City.

KONE said it had booked the order in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The mall will house more than 650 retail outlets, a large supermarket, 18-screen cinema, concert spaces and spas among others.

Emaar Development PJSC and Dubai-based real estate company Meraas Holding LLC are developing the mall in a joint venture.

Emaar announced the start of the project in August last year. The mall, located at the crossing of Umm Suqeim Street and Al Khail Road, will also link to the Dubai Metro and other public transport.
