Renaissance Services SAOG, Oman’s integrated facilities management company, has announced a digital transformation partnership with global experience company SAP to drive efficiencies for the company and its clients using digital platforms
Oman Vision 2040 continues to guide the development of the Sultanate’s infrastructure, mall and retail, and tourism and hospitality projects. Goldstein Research shows the facilities management market has topped US$210mn and is set to grow by more than four-fold to US$860mn by 2022.
Supporting 2040’s goals of economic and social transformation, Renaissance’s digital transformation of its human resources and learning function is centred on adopting the SAP SuccessFactors cloud-based human resources management system. Renaissance is driving talent development with mobile apps for self-learning across more than 9,000 employees and helping to develop Oman’s workforce of the future.
“As part of Renaissance’s goals of being the best services solutions company and providing safe and hygienic facilities, nutritious cuisine, as well as supporting Oman Vision 2040, we need to quickly onboard and train thousands of employees,” said Manoj Parmesh, chief people officer, Renaissance Services SAOG.
Renaissance’s mobile apps will provide employees with access to their HR team for various service requests, access to pay information and learning content with self-learning units that are tailored to individual roles, that would be available anywhere, anytime, and from any type of mobile device.
“In the rapid response fields of facilities management and food services, we’re exchanging best practices in talent development so that Renaissance can gain real-time insights on their employees’ efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction,” said Waheed Al Hamaid, managing director, SAP Oman.
