Syria and Algeria forge closer ties



Syrian Minister of Housing and Construction, Omar Ibrahim Ghalawanji, has discussed ways of boosting cooperation relations and establishing joint ventures in the construction sector with an Algerian Contractors delegation, according to the Syrian State News Agency.

Both sides stressed the need to take advantage of the two countries' experience in all domains and utilising the special political relations between them in establishing joint corporations that work both in the local and foreign markets. The Head of the Algerian Contractors Union expressed his desire for Syrian firms to contribute in the infrastructure sector in the Algerian market.
