Oman?s PDC signs land lease agreement with Petrojet

The Port of Duqm Company has signed a 25-year usufruct land lease agreement for a 50,000 sq m plot with The Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations CO (Petrojet) in Oman

Under this lease agreement, Petrojet will use the land to operate its steelworks, molding, fusion, welding metal structures and installing and maintenance of pumps.

A 50:50 joint venture between the Omani government and the Consortium Antwerp Port (CAP), under its subsidiary Duqm Industrial Land Company (DILC), Port of Duqm Company (PDC) will provide continuous support to Petrojet in setting up the project and aims to continue giving the best customer experience and value offerings to its clients locally and across the globe.

PDC holds 5,000 ha of land space at its strategic location and a state-of-the-art port facility under its concession. Of that, 2,000 ha land space of industrial and petrochemical area offers investors to operate medium to heavy industrial activities.
