Bahrain?s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication has shortlisted Al Zayani Engineering, KPMG and Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) Middle East to provide advisory on the construction of Phase 1 of Bahrain Metro
As notified in the country?s Tender Board, out of the total eight bids, the Ministry suspended Deloitte, Gulf International Bank, Lazard Freres, Parsons Global Services and Ernst & Young.
The bids were called for to provide financial, technical and legal consultancy services for phase 1 of the metro project in February 2019.
The project is co-developed by Bahrain?s Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning. Phase 1 comprises 30km of elevated track and 20 stations, one of which is set to link to Bahrain International Airport (BAH).
