HIMOINSA, manufacturer and distributor of power generation systems, has expanded its heavy range with a new series of generator sets with MTU engines

According to HIMOINSA, the new models offer advantages over older models in the same series, running at 50Hz. It has power range of between 745 kVA to 1270 kVA in PRP and 822 kVA to 1402 kVA in standby.

The series includes a dual-frequency model, the HRMW 1270 D5-6, mainly aimed at the rental sector, stated the firm.

The MTU engines have a common rail injection system and new electronic regulation, offering greater displacement power and lower fuel consumption than other engines. Their average rate limits for load and operating hours even improve the power rating conditions, HIMOINSA sources said.

The HRMW 1270 D5-6 is integrated into a tough 20-foot ISO container, allowing maritime transport. The container is designed so that the generator set can be transported with ease and handled with cranes and hoists. It features wide doors, which incorporate safety locks, enabling access to all components with quick and easy maintenance and servicing.

HIMOINSA will be at this year's bauma show being held in Munich Germany between 11-17 April 2016, where visitors will be able to find out more about the advantages this new model offers.
