Pentair to set up manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia

Pentair, a manufacturer of water filters, pump systems and pool accessories, has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia?s Ali Abdullah Al-Tamimi Company to set up a manufacturing and servicing facility in Dammam

According to Arab News, the signing ceremony was attended by Pentair Middle East managing director Ramesh Nuggihalli, the company?s chief executive officer Randall Hogan, Pentair president (valves and controls) David Dunbar and Ali Abdullah Al Tamimi president Tariq Al-Tamimi, among other executives.

Hogan said, ?Saudi Arabia is the region?s single largest economy with a fast-growing industrial landscape, offering a unique opportunity for Pentair to contribute to its success story. Through this new partnership, Pentair will be able to manufacture some of its premium products and brands to serve the local and international markets.?

Ali Abdullah Al-Tamimi is a trading and contracting group with interests in Saudi Arabia?s industrial and power sectors.

Al-Tamimi said, ?We are pleased to be extending our relationship with Pentair. The company?s operating processes are an excellent foundation, which can accelerate the growth of a strong manufacturing base in the Kingdom.?
